Petits Bijoux by Catellani & Smith is the representation of a “static movement”, the effect of an action that seems to imitate the gesture of throwing a stone into a body of water, thus forming concentric waves that propagate through space. The concept of the sphere, the circle as a metaphor for infinity and perfection, are dear and recurring subjects in Catellani & Smith’s thirty-year production, and they return here in this new collection of suspensions, as simple in form as they are extraordinary in execution. Shimmering lenses illuminate the natural brass rings, like celestial bodies following their orbits.

The collection consists of two different models, Petits Bijoux S and L, both characterized by a series of circles, sometimes smaller, sometimes larger, supported by thin cables, which follow one another to form a sphere (120 cm for the S model and 75 cm for the L model).
