The Petites Lentilles LED pendant light by Catellani & Smith is the result of Enzo Catellani’s pursuit of refined simplicity, a balance between light and material. The natural brass oval ring—measuring 120×60 cm—creates a large, suspended orbit in space, upon which 22 small transparent glass lenses are arranged. These lenses direct the light downward. An additional light source is located behind the ceiling canopy cover. It shines upward, providing both indirect and complementary lighting. The delicate brass oval ring is suspended by four cables, giving it the appearance of floating freely in the air. The pendant light comes with a remote control that allows you to turn the lights on and off or adjust the intensity of the two light sources independently.
