The point of contact between the two elements is minimized, making the top appear to float in the air, almost levitating. Thanks to its unique design and inimitable shape, the result of a true technical feat, Clay has won numerous prestigious awards, including the Iconic Design Award 2015, a Good Design Award 2016, and a Red Dot Award in the Product Design category. The rigid polyurethane base is available in lacquered or hand-textured finishes, while the tops can be round or elliptical and made of glass, ceramic, wood, or marble.
