Aviva is a folding chair designed by Marc Berthier in the late 1970s in response to the mobility of urban lifestyles. Manufactured by Magis for 20 years, it underwent a restyling in 2010. The Aviva chairs fold completely flat and are designed for high-level industrial production, featuring frames made from just two pieces of beech wood, connected by small metal components. The specific kinematics of the folding seat requires absolute precision, rarely achieved in woodworking. Robust and compact, Aviva takes up very little space when folded and can be easily stored in the tiniest corners and crevices. From an ergonomic perspective, this chair fits the human body perfectly.
