Designed by Jenkens & Uhnger for Pallucco, Tangent is an adjustable floor lamp inspired by geometric principles. The shape and simplicity of the lamp’s mechanism give it a sculptural appearance. The lamp consists of two main elements: a linear LED with an integrated dimmer in the light tube, which interacts with the second element, a ring fixed on the pedestal. Through a combination of tension, friction, and balance, you can create the desired functional or aesthetic lighting effect. Though unique, the mechanism is intuitive and easy to understand. The light tube can rotate around the ring, pivot along its axis, and move linearly. Additionally, using the pivot in the base, you can position the lamp in your chosen space to create countless lighting scenarios. Available in three sizes: XL, Medium, and Mini. Available in two finishes: white or black lacquered aluminum. Made in Italy.
