The Showtime vase collection emerged from the collaboration between young Spanish designer Jaime Hayon and the renowned manufacturer BD Barcelona in 2006. This series of vases, featuring organic shapes that lie somewhere between sculpture and fictional characters, combines traditional glazed stoneware with the unique originality of these decorative objects. With various sizes and shapes, each Showtime vase is designed to hold small bouquets of flowers. The entire Showtime collection reflects the distinctive style of the designer and the very essence of BD Barcelona, the prestigious Spanish design house, through a blend of classicism and modernity. The Showtime vases remain as contemporary today as they were when BD Barcelona introduced them over 15 years ago. These small decorative sculptures faithfully represent Hayon’s universe. The collection includes five models of vases in white porcelain or glazed in various colors—five sculptural pieces ready to be adorned with flowers.
