The Fortuny collection brilliantly merges tradition and modernity, creating lamps that add character to spaces.
Designed by Mariano Fortuny in 1907 and reissued by Pallucco since 1985, Fortuny is still regarded today as an icon of contemporary design. The craftsmanship and talent of this eclectic artist led to the creation of the Fortuny floor lamp, which revolutionized stage lighting and experimented with a new indirect lighting system for the stage. The base is inspired by the tripod of a camera, while for the lampshade, Mariano Fortuny inverted the typical shades of the time, making them adjustable and thus creating a tool for directing light. In the history of design, few projects lend themselves to new interpretations while maintaining a unique personality.
Fortuny is available in 6 versions, each in two sizes, with LED lighting or incandescent bulbs.
